Boys want to have fun, while parents want them to learn positive values and skills that will last a lifetime. If your son is about to enter first through fifth grade, or is 7 to 10 years old, then Cub Scouting is for him. Boy he is and the person he will become. Involves a variety of family activities.

Friday, August 14, 2015. Today we learned what it is like to be a work in progress. After working so very hard yesterday, digging 20 holes for trees, picking up trash, cutting out openings in the shipping containers. Later, we celebrated communion with the Plantjies community volunteers who had so vigorously worked on their new community center. I walked around the circle with my good friend Pat Welch and saw person after person, taking the elements .
